Modern and effective research needs effective networks of research teams specialised in different but complimentary fields. During the last fifteen years the IRSEA has built up such a network.
Our research programs are developed in connection with different partners such as the CNRS, INRA, Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire de Nantes, Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire de Lyon, Universities of Lincoln (UK), Barcelona, Torino, Tokyo, Texas Technology University, CENAPA (Nationale Research Centre of Parasitology of Mexico), Faculdad de Ciencias Veterinaria de Casilda (Argentina) and many independent experts in clinical ethology all around the world.
Our involvement in educational programs is another consequence of our history and of our financial independence. Each year, the IRSEA welcomes students from various universities and different countries: students in veterinary medicine, biology, agronomy or statistics come and take part in our project under the supervision of our scientific team.
On going training and education also concerns the IRSEA team. All the researchers have access to on going training and some of them have achieved or are currently achieving their PhD.
Our team is also involved in teaching in different Universities: French Vet Schools, Universities of Torino, Barcelona, Santiago de Chile, Xavier Bichat University - Paris (psychiatry), EIP - Toulouse (agronomy).
