En 1995 fut crée Phérosynthèse, un laboratoire de recherche et développement spécialisé dans le domaine de la communication chimique au sein du monde vivant. Phérosynthèse donne naissance, en 2010, à l' Institut de Recherche en Sémiochimie et Ethologie Appliquée (IRSEA). L'identification de signaux chimiques intervenant dans la vie des animaux permet de mettre au point de nouveaux outils thérapeutiques et zootechniques, respectueux de l'homme, de l'animal et de l'environnement. Les recherches de l'IRSEA, concrétisées par le dépôt de 79 brevets internationaux depuis sa création, font l'objet de nombreuses communications et publications internationales.

Founded in 1995, Pherosynthese was a research and development laboratory whose work was divided into various fields of research, based mainly on chemical communication within the living world. In 2010, Pherosynthese gives rise to the Institute of Research in Semiochemistry and Applied Ethology (IRSEA). The identification of chemical signals used by animals, allows the development of therapeutic and technical tools, which respect man, animals and the environment. This IRSEA's research, materialised by the registration of 79 international patents since its founding, has been the subject of numerous international conferences and publications.
